Cumaru Decking Profiles

We offer a wide selection of cumaru decking profiles. Each one has a range of advantages that are well-suited for certain applications.

Decking Profiles

Regular E4E S4S

The standard deck board, this profile is always in high demand. The complicated name stands for "Eased 4 Edges/Surfaced 4 Sides. E4E S4S cumaru decking can be used in a wide variety of applications, including:

  • Decking
  • Siding
  • Inlays
  • Lattices
  • Gazebos
  • Stair treads & risers

Pre-Grooved

Our pre-grooved cumaru decking is one of our most popular profiles. The grooves running along the length of the boards are perfect for using hidden deck fasteners, and we even offer one-sided pre-grooved boards for the edge of the deck.

Here are some of the advantages of pre-grooved deck boards:

  • Creates a safer, cleaner deck surface
  • Keeps deck boards level and uniform
  • Less stress due to expansion & contraction
  • Easier to resurface
  • No nail pop-ups

Tongue & Groove

Tongue & Groove cumaru decking is perfect for creating a seemless surface in a covered area. This easy-to-install profile is recommended for:

  • Sunrooms
  • Covered porches & patios
  • Covered lanais
  • Interior areas exposed to heat & AC

Deck Tiles

Deck tiles stand out as the easiest deck to install. Anyone can do it in just a matter of hours! Cumaru deck tiles are ideal for covering old concrete patios and other low-ground-clearance areas. Mix and match rotations for a one-of-a-kind look!

Cumaru deck tiles are available in:

  • Smooth
  • Anti-Slip

Railing Profiles

Large Handrail Cap

The decision to go with a large rail cap versus the small rail cap is largely aesthetic. Whichever one you go with, it will give your cumaru deck a cohesive, finished look. Going with a large rail cap system will require more pieces, since it is designed to work with the sub-rail.

Small Handrail Cap

The small handrail cap system is cheaper, not only because it is smaller, but also because it uses fewer components.

Subrail

The sub-rail is designed to transition between the large rail cap and the ballusters.

Siding Profiles

Shiplap Siding

Shiplap siding is easy to install and an elegant solution to creating fences or walls that match your cumaru deck.

Rainscreen Siding

The rainscreen siding profile is designed to prevent water from building up between the boards. It also is an improvement over the shiplap design because it can be installed using a hidden fastener system; no screws will mar a rainscreen-sided surface! The downside is that it is a little trickier to install.

Custom Profiles

We don't want to limit your imagination. That's why, in addition to our standard cumaru decking profiles, we also offer custom milling services. Just get in touch to tell us what you need.
